Discussion on the international business negotiations influenced by Chinese and American cultures and differences Jialin Zhao CMN6060 Professor Stephen Novick October 26, 2016 Abstract Cultural negotiations are business negotiations with different cultural conditions. Under the background of economic globalization and international economic integration, the business ties between countries are becoming more and more closely. In order to avoid cultural conflicts, it is important to understand the different cultures of different countries. This article takes the international trade between America and China as example to analyze the influence on cultural differences. The author focuses on three main points: 1) the definition of culture and the different reasons of cultural differences; 2) the research on the impacts of different culture with the international business negotiations; 3) different negotiation styles and cultural values under different cultural conditions. In the end, this article discussed several effective methods to solve the problems, which are caused by the cultural differences during the negotiating process. Contents 1. Introduction 1.1.
